Trying my best not to feel super pissy. It's only 4 in the morning - what is there to be upset about?

I guess the fact that I'm sitting here doing nothing and can feel hives itching to break out is getting to me. Why am I so allergic to everything? It's those damn dust mites, pooping everywhere, making me suffer. Death to dust mites!

Also, I had two bad days on my diet this week and it's only Wednesday and tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Uh oh.

Also also, since we can't afford the outrageous airfare to Disney this year, we are thinking of driving. This vexes me. What if I get another DVT from a 20 hour trip? Eep.

Also also also, I am in so much pain whenever I exercise these days, how am I going to racewalk miles through Disney World in a few months? :/

Also also also also, I hate when people act like dicks. Why do they feel the need?

Dust mites are the worst of cleaning. I swear it's better to let them be.

Thanksgiving is an Official Day Off From Dieting. It's in the Constitution: the right to bear turkey legs.

*hugs* 4am? Ouch.

We were forced to bring tons of stuff up from our basement cause of the wetness, and now that all I do is spend days on end sifting through it, the mites are killing me.

Everyday should be Thanksgiving then!

I'm up at three almost every night. But then, I can hardly stay awake past 8:30, so I guess it evens out.

How is your story coming? Have I told you how excited I am for it? xx

I think all our stuff just moves from one room to another depending on who is coming to see us. I'm usually hip deep in antihistamines to get through the experience.

That doesn't sound like a good sleep pattern.

Story is coming along. I wish I was better at this writing lark. My ambitions sail way higher than my abilities. I hope you won't be too disappointed with it.

Us too!

Isn't!

Silly girl, you can't disappoint me. I am pleased to have you reveal whatever is ticking through that clever mind of yours. Your unique pov and skill shine through and make everything I've ever read of yours charm me beyond words. Seriously. I don't find many people brilliant. I'm not blowing smoke.

My ego and I thank you. It makes all the agonising I do become worthwhile. :) Have I warned you that this year's xmasfic is but part 2 of a 5 year plan? Yup; I am that devious.

Happy Thankgiving if I don't catch you before tomorrow.

A five year plan? It can be done. If I get crackin'.

*Hugs*

God, that's a long drive from here, but from NY? OUCH. But I can understand. I just don't understand how a flight itself can cost $200, but with taxes and fees, it costs $700. That's just not right on any level.

I hope you are feeling better!

The prices for that week are outrageous. For the five of us, we're looking at $4500. To get to Florida? When all is said and done, it would have been a $13,000 vaycay, easily. For one week? I just can't swing it.

Thanks, hon!

OOOOOF!!! God, no way. Driving it is! Just give everyone Benedryl or iChill (it think it's called that).

Yeah, I'm waiting to see if prices drop for round trip tickets to Newark Liberty in March since that's where Mischief and I are flying out of for London, but I refuse to pay outrageous amounts of money for a puddle jumper. I'll probably end up taking the train from DC up and back. Just makes for long ass travel days. On the plus side, I think they have free wifi. That always makes things better.

Our car has teevee. They can zombiefy whilst we chug along.

I'm afraid high prices for airlines are here to stay. We're trying to send our daughter to Europe for the summer and I think we're going to pay through the nose for those tickets. Plus the programs are very expensive. All the money we save on Disney will go to Oxford.

We're going to try to cut a week off of Cape Cod and use our credit card's points towards her flight. Should help defray. I hope.
